Boys go fishing… Girls go shopping!

PG has been away for a few days now with his mates on a fishing trip and whilst he’s busy catching up with his mates, I’ve been busy just hanging out with Moi. I thought catching up with friends too – but nah! Best to just hang out alone with the pets.

But the dogs stress me out though because they have a routine with PG and they do pressure me a lot. Phoebe would give me dagger looks as if to say that I’m meant to be giving her time and treats and Louis just annoys me when he scratches the door downstairs and he knows I’d be upstairs with the cats as if to say – “come down here Mummy and give us treats!”. Apart from they are both sick since last week I have been busy nursing them – Phoebe’s got kennel cough and Louis’ got conjunctivitis.

Office has been toxic lately and so I have had a lousy week to say the least. And PG’s not here to have a daily de-briefing of what went on with my day. He is fascinated with my stories from work that he just loves listening. So this week – he’s not been around so what better way to make me feel better but to go shopping. Ahhhhh retail therapy. Madame Coco Chanel would be so proud of my purchases – I bought 2 perfumes from Chanel today – Chanel No. 5 Premiere and Chance. They’re both gorgeous scents of course.

I bought a few (just a few!) clothes and shoes too but I’m feeling good because I have been following my stylists advice to stick with the classics and purchase quality merchandise. It actually takes me longer to shop now but I don’t mind. Before I could hit the shops and come back with lots of stuff – but lately I have been very very good because I actually think through of my purchase and see whether the cut/colour fits me. However this also meant I have been spending more time in the high-end section of Chaddie where some brands don’t really have sale season. And that meant a bit of a dent to the credit card. Oooppppssss.

I will just say to PG – “Guess what you just bought for me this weekend?”!!!
